My best weeks don't start on Monday morning. They start Sunday afternoon.
I used to think I needed hours of perfect planning to feel ready for the week. As a mom and business builder, that idea collapsed fast. What works for me now is a short, repeatable reset with three priorities: clear my space, clear my mind, and clear my next step.
Step 1: Reset one visible space
I choose one area that affects my stress the most. Usually it's the kitchen counter or my desk. I set a 20-minute timer and stop when it ends.
Step 2: Prep one anchor meal
I don't meal prep everything. I prep one easy option that saves me on a busy day. A simple protein bowl, soup, or overnight oats can shift the whole week.
Step 3: Write my top three priorities
I plan less and commit better. Three non-negotiables keep me focused without overwhelm. If I finish those, the week already feels like a win.
If you're trying to feel more in control, start small. A short Sunday reset can change your Monday energy more than any perfect planner ever will.
